Marissa Baumgartner
Marissa Baumgartner is an Indigenous Woman of the Cayuse, Walla Walla, and Wintun people. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science with a focus in Child Development. Growing up on the Reservation inspired her to attend college to gain more knowledge and understanding of how to help heal her people and restore healthy systems for Indigenous families and communities. Through her understanding of her culture, the brain, and how our experiences shape us throughout the lifespan. Working with Marissa will ignite you on your own path of self discovery and healing.
Marissa’s center focus of work is Intergenerational Healing. "When we heal ourselves, we in-turn heal our families and communities". As Marissa shares her story and builds connections with others, they too are healing. It is through breath, calibrating the nervous system, and processing our experiences that we are able to bring about change in our lives.
Marissa is the Founder and Creator of Native Women’s Wellness Movement LLC. The mission is to utilize intergenerational healing practices to create inner peace and well-being, nourishment, healthy relationship, and purpose.
